BU Women's Tennis Beats Clarion
HILTON HEAD, SC-- The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team defeated PSAC-rival Clarion on Tuesday by a score of 9-0 in Hilton Head, SC.
Bloomsburg opened a 3-0 in doubles play winning all three matches by identical 8-4 scores. In singles play Emily Palko (McMurray/Peters Township) won 6-1, 6-1 at number three and Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry/Delaware Valley) won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at number four.
The Huskies are 5-2 on the year and will face Niagara on Wednesday.
